Tonello to debate Winner at two public events

John Tonello, Democratic candidate for New York's 53rd district senate seat, will debate George Winner at two college venues this week. Both events are free and open to the public.

Wednesday, Oct. 15
7 to 8 p.m. in Elmira College's Gibson Theatre
The debate is being sponsored by WETM-TV and the Corning Leader, and will be televised live on WETM-TV 2.

Thursday, Oct. 16
12:30 to 2 p.m. in the main dining room of Corning Community College's Commons
This will be a town hall debate format and is being facilitated by the American Association of University Women and Corning Community College.
